I probably don't need to tell many of you what a hassle it is to put furniture together. With all the moving I've done in my life I really haven't done had to put a lot of furniture together. But, since I needed to buy everything from dishes, glasses and silverware to a bed, couch, dresser, all at once, I needed to buy some items that I couldn't afford and have delivered. The items arrived in boxes (very big boxes) and had to be put together. Ugh!!
I ordered a couch, dresser, night stand and desk online. What a disaster! The dresser took 3 1/2 hours to put together (with help from a colleague).
I was able to put the night stand together myself.
Feeling quite accomplished, I took on the couch myself.I got as far as the frame but then needed help...again my colleague stepped in. Good part, we left afterwards for a drink at a great bar in Beverly!
At least you can see my great hardwood floors!
I do love my little place. It has a great location and I'm starting to enjoy Salem now the weather is starting to get nice.
Next couple of weeks will bring a new chair (purple) and outdoor furniture. Summer is coming!
